Zytek hybrid powered LMP to debut at Petit Le Mans

The American Corsa Motorsports organisation will become the first to race a hybrid Le Mans prototype sportscar at October’s Petit Le Mans race at the Road Atlanta circuit in Georgia.
The racecar is UK built Zytek chassis powered by a combination of an E10 ethanol fuelled V8 engine and alternating-current electric motor also supplied by Zytek.
Team owner Steve Pruitt told the American USA Today newspaper, "To go to the moon, you've got to go up and orbit the earth a couple of times, and that's what we're in the process of doing."
