Norway-France trip costs ethanol vs petrol and diesel

Ford Motor Company is reported by the French motoring paper L’Argus of 20 September to have driven three Focus C-Max cars from Oslo to Paris, running respectively on E85 ethanol, petrol and diesel. The diesel won on fuel cost at €0.07 per km, against €0.09/km for the flex-fuel car running on E85 (tax-subsidized in many countries) and €0.11/km for the petrol Focus.
