Vauxhall/Opel postpones £60m pan-European Astra ad campaign

Vauxhall and Opel were reportedly due to run new campaigns for the Astra and Corsa models next month, but the Astra ads have been delayed indefinitely, according to the advertising industry magazine Brand Republic Bulletin. The paper understands the Astra campaign was dropped in favour of promoting the Corsa because the former is less in need of advertising support, in the context of GM placing pressure on marketing budgets. Vauxhall did not comment.
