Lotus Europa S details announced

Lotus has announced prices for the Europa S coupe, which goes on sale September 16. It will cost from £32,995 in the UK, with the metallic paint option a further £595 and 'Lifestyle Paint' £1,009. Standard equipment includes driver and passenger airbags, air conditioning, satellite navigation and leather upholstery.
Effectively a more comfortable, GT-style evolution of the Elise, with a larger boot and luggage compartment, easier cabin access via lower sides and a higher roof, along with a less spartan cabin. The Europa S still weighs just 995kg and can do 150mph and 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds. It is fitted with the Vauxhall Ecotec turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, developing 197bhp at 5,400rpm and 200lb-ft of torque at 5,000rpm.
