Toyota considers new Brazilian plant for sub-€6,150 cars

A Japanese paper, the Tokyo Shimbun, reported yesterday said that Toyota is considering setting up a new plant to build small, low-cost cars in Brazil, which would produce up to 200,000 units/year of a small car for emerging markets from 2011, priced at around €6,150.
