Ricardo CEO takes seat on UK Electronics Leadership Council

Ricardo CEO Dave Shemmans has accepted a seat on the newly reconstituted board of the UK Electronics Leadership Council, which has an advisory role to the Government on the UK electronics industry.
Under the chairmanship of Harry Tee, CEO of Dialight plc, the ELC board comprises the chairmen, CEOs and managing directors of a number of companies with electronics industry involvement, including ARM, BAE Systems Businesses, Amadeus Capital and Thales UK. The new ELC will meet three or possibly four times a year, with an invited government minister in attendance. It will concern itself with all the key issues that impact on the electronics industry, including skills, innovation, investment and government procurement.
