TTxGP organiser joins MIA

The group organising the TTxGP clean emission motorcycle race, which is to be held during the 2009 TT races on the Isle of Man next June, has joined the UK’s Motorsport Industry Association.
MIA CEO, Chris Aylett said, “We are delighted to have the TTxGP within our membership. This unique event will be a challenging proving ground for clean emission vehicle technology, initially focused on motorcycles. It will provide an impetuous for the development of such technologies and act as an important stepping-stone in the challenge of solving environmental issues faced by the wider motor industry today – an important issue for all members of the MIA.”
