Workers await Visteon Belfast factory verdict - report
5th May 2006
Some 300 workers at Visteon’s Dunmurry, Belfast plant are waiting to hear if their jobs can be saved, reported Irish media yesterday. Visteon itself has so far issued no news about any plans for the plant’s closure, though it carried one of the brief media reports on its own website yesterday. Visteon released improved quarterly earnings figures earlier in the week and revised its full year earnings guidance to investors upwards.
