FIA technical consultant to address SAE motorsport conference

Peter Wright, a technical consultant to the FIA Institute, is to address the 2008 SAE Motorsports Engineering Conference, in the USA in December with a presentation titled, "Motorsports and the Environment: Challenge or Compromise?"

The British engineer was the director of research and development at the UK based Team Lotus Formula One team and is credited with pioneering work in the development of ground effect aerodynamics and active ride suspension. Following the demise of the Lotus team Wright became a technical adviser to the FIA in 1995.

The SAE Motorsports Engineering Conference will take place on December 2-4 in Concord, North Carolina.
