The Amphenol UK assembly site in Nottingham specialises in aero-engine products and can supply parts to EN2997, SBAC SEC10, Rolls-Royce ESC and Mil-Spec class K products. In addition to these standard firewall products they design and manufacture custom connectors to meet special requirements. These range from minor modifications to special connector types and include, filtered parts for engine applications, fuel-immersed connectors for in-tank applications, high performance hermetics and customized shells. We supply connector solutions to many of the world's leading aero engine manufacturers including Rolls Royce, Hispano-Suiza, and Pratt & Whitney, and are the preferred manufacturer of firewall connectors for Rolls Royce. Pyle National has development responsibility within the Amphenol group . For Industrial applications we are able to offer a wide range of standard products for an even wider variety of uses, from rugged connectors specifically designed for harsh environments to customer specials for some of the Worlds leading car manufacturers The organisation continues to be at the forefront of developing products for emerging industrial markets and technologies, and our dedicated team of engineers in Nottingham are always on hand to work closely with customers to find the most efficient and cost-effective solutions to all their connector needs. Increasing customer demand globally for mass transit systems, necesitates a large increase in the demand for rolling stock, from trams, metro, intercity,and freight. Demand for interconnect systems reflect this, not only for rolling stock, but also for infastructure, equipment, signals, and communication support networks.
